Unrequited Love

Dear Diary,
Am I crazy to think he may like me back? Because I really think he might. He jokes and laughs with me, compliments me, etc. We haven't touched or anything though. I get so jealous sometimes because one of my best friends is close with him and they touch all the time. But she doesn't even like him! ...anymore. She used to like him and would flirt with him but claimed she didn't realize she was. I'm not accusing her...I don't think she was actively trying to flirt. But it still hurt, ya know? :( I hope he likes me back...I'm not great with unrequited crushes. The last time I had a crush on one of my guy friends it ended VERY badly. As in, not talking anymore, extreme awkwardness badly. And now I don't even see him because he goes to a prep school, not our town high school. :/ I wish our friendship hadn't ended that way. But you don't always get what you want.
